The last few weeks have been a Ford fest, so here’s one for the Griffin fans!
This fantastic MK2 Astra GTE is a 2.0 8V model and looks immaculate!! Exterior and interior are in amazing condition and the LCD Digidash is fully intact with no dead pixels, very rare for these GTE’s!
Only the Magnex exhaust and retro fitted sunroof differentiate from the original spec, both were popular mods to make in the 90’s.
We’ve had a fair few MK2 GTE’s through the doors at Redline HQ, even a Champion Edition, but this is the first 8V and we were pleasantly surprised by the torque of the 8V engine, easily keeping pace on modern roads!

All cars have an MOT or we have them MOT’d ourselves by a local test centre and as such are to the best of our knowledge fully roadworthy. Although we take great care to ensure all cars are structurally and mechanically sound, these are 20-30 year old cars and as such you should not expect an as new car. Even the best examples of classic cars require regular maintenance and this should be taken into consideration before entering.
