We’ve got a real beast of a Vauxhall for you this time!
Vauxhall Nova with a 2.0 16V Turbocharged C20LET conversion and what a proper job it is!
This early spec Nova shell has been fully seam-welded & fitted with a Harry Hockley chassis strengthening kit to help put the power down safely. Cosmetically some GSi-spec bumpers, sideskirts and a GTE rear spoiler have been fitted before a full respray in Vauxhall Rio Verde which really makes this beast pop!
Now into the business end! The legendary C20LET 1998cc DOHC 16v engine has been shoe horned into the little Nova engine bay and upgraded with a hybrid KKK turbo, Mahle oversize pistons, ARP bolts, Coscast cylinder head, Saab red injectors, custom fabricated stainless steel boost pipes with front mounted intercooler.
The C20LET has been fitted to an F28 6-speed gearbox with custom fabricated shafts, GM clutch assembly and a
Quaife limited-stip diff!
To ensure this weapon of a Nova can handle the power and stop when needed a set of Bilstein B8 Dampers have been fitted along with poly bushed components and more. The brakes are 288mm Calibra Turbo drilled and grooved discs with fast road compound pads up front and Astra GSi discs at the rear.
Inside the cabin, the original Nova seats have been replaced with far more suitable Calibra Turbo leather seats to keep you snug while hitting the B-roads!
Finishing it all off are our favourite wheels for a performance Vauxhall, 16in Speedline Alessio II alloys!

All cars have an MOT or we have them MOT’d ourselves by a local test centre and as such are to the best of our knowledge fully roadworthy. Although we take great care to ensure all cars are structurally and mechanically sound, these are 20-30 year old cars and as such you should not expect an as new car. Even the best examples of classic cars require regular maintenance and this should be taken into consideration before entering.
