Every now and then someone builds a car that is an absolutely insane idea yet makes so much sense when you see it built! This is that car! Built from the ground up, this stunning Mk1 Jetta started life as a humble Jetta C and has been completely rebuilt, packing a Mk4 R32 3.2-litre VR6 under the bonnet.

The R32 engine has been fully rebuilt with new timing chain, gaskets and hardware, fitted using a full Eurowise conversion kit with shallow sump, driveshafts, crossmember and radiator, all imported from the States. Married to a short-shift 02J gearbox, lightweight flywheel, Bosch 044 pump with boot-mounted swirl pot and a Trackslag exhaust that provides the awesome soundtrack to this retro VW. Sat on AP coilovers, G60 280mm brakes, retrimmed Recaros in GTI-style cloth this car is ready for show season!
